The Story
Pick It Up Games was founded in 2025 by me, Chris McMillion.After years of playing video games and D&D, I eventually fell in love with board games. A few years later, I decided to try my hand at designing some games myself. These ranged from too simple to too complicated, but I didn't give up. In 2021, I had finally crafted a real gem with The Hidden Village. After some playtests I realized I had a viable product, but my journey was only beginning.Using my skills in project management, illustration, graphic design, and web design, I decided to embark on a quest to take The Hidden Village from prototype to fully published game. And here we are, as I continue pumping out artwork, scheduling playtests, and tweaking my designs. I hope you'll find a way to be a part of this story!
